Project Narrative
The Smart Water Pumping System (Low-Cost Version) is designed to solve a major problem faced in many countries where huge amounts of electricity are wasted every day due to manually operated water pumps. Our system automates the entire process, ensuring the motor runs only when necessary, saving significant energy and reducing utility costs for families. It uses water-level calibration, real-time tank monitoring, and optimized motor control to guarantee that not a single extra unit of electricity is consumed. Beyond energy savings, we also integrated basic water-quality indicators—such as germ-level alerts and sediment detection—so users can know when their tank needs cleaning, making the system both efficient and health-conscious. Built with affordability and accessibility in mind, this project aims to bring smart automation to households that need it most. Ultimately, our goal is simple: a better future for people, built by the people through sustainable, low-cost technological innovation.
